Oakwood 6th and 7th grade students headed out to Sea Cliff Beach for their annual Oakwood Adventure. They had a great day of team-building activities and games, and were able to meet new friends and bond with classmates. Activities included beach volleyball, ultimate frisbee, sandcastle building, and a punctured drum activity where they had to work together to fill punctured buckets with water. Good teamwork, everyone!
2018 Oakwood Adventures
Eighth grade students and their teachers made the traditional trip to Trapeze Arts, where they tested their bravery and faced their fears as the practiced flying trapeze and other circus arts. This unique and exciting experience made for a great day of bonding.
Keeping with Oakwood tradition, Oakwood High School students kicked off the year with their High School Adventure. Students and faculty embarked on an amazing experience whitewater rafting on the South Fork of the American River. It was an adventure indeed, with moments of sheer excitement paddling through roaring rapids and making wonderful memories with friends.
