Field Trips & Adventures
Class field trips are a rich part of the Oakwood experience. Increasing in length and sophistication as the students mature, field trips provide insight into and increased enjoyment of the curriculum. Although the field trips are not mandatory, they are a key part of the curriculum and provide significant social value for the students.
Upper School Adventures
Middle School and High School Adventures take place the first week of school each year and are a fun way for students to bond with classmates and create lasting memories. Previous Middle School Adventures have included team-building games at Mt. Madonna, Sea Cliff Beach, and Trapeze Arts. Previous High School Adventures have participated in whitewater rafting, kayaking, the Mt. Hermon Redwood Canopy Tour and Sequoia Aerial Adventure, and The Go Game.
