Dear Summer@Oakwood Families,

We can hardly believe it—another magical summer has come and gone! Over the past several weeks, our campers have filled their days with laughter, adventure, and friendships that will last far beyond these sunny days. From energetic games on the field to creative masterpieces in the art room, every moment was a new chapter in our summer story.

Like the best Disney tales, our camp was full of curiosity, courage, and a little bit of pixie dust. Campers explored new activities, discovered hidden talents, and grew in confidence with each passing day. Together, we built memories that sparkle brighter than fireworks over Cinderella’s Castle.

This final week, we celebrated Disney Magic, where campers stepped into beloved stories—transforming into princesses, heroes, explorers, and sidekicks. From themed games and sing-alongs to magical crafts and imaginative play, the spirit of Disney brought joy, wonder, and a touch of enchantment to our camp family.

As we close the book on this summer’s adventure, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude. Thank you for choosing Summer@Oakwood and trusting us to create a safe, joyful, and memorable experience for your children. We are so honored to be part of their summer story, and we can’t wait to see what new adventures await in the future. See you next summer!

This week, we shrunk down to bug-size and stepped into the magical world of A Bug’s Life! Campers explored the fascinating lives of ants, ladybugs, butterflies, grasshoppers, and all things tiny—but mighty! From buzzing science experiments to crawly crafts, the week was jam-packed with fun and learning. 🐜✨Fun Friday was such a hit! Our campers had a blast "flying" down the waterslide and also enjoyed water centers throughout the courtyard. 

We can’t believe it—but the last week of camp has arrived! Please join us as we wrap up summer with the last week of camp, Disney Magic!

Featuring Preschool - 3rd Grade. Wednesday, August 6th, at 9:00 - 9:20 am in the Barn. Please have your child wear their white Summer@Oakwood shirt on the performance day. Thank you!

Please apply sunscreen to your child before arriving at Oakwood each morning. If you would like us to reapply sunscreen to your child during the camp day, we kindly request that you bring your own sunscreen, labeled with your child's name, to be kept at school for the duration of Summer@Oakwood (optional).

Remember, Summer Explorers ends promptly at 5:30 pm!

Late Pick-Up Fee: A $1.00 per minute late charge will be applied for late

pick-up beginning at 1:25 pm and 5:30 pm.

The capes have been hung, the masks have been unmasked, and the secret identities have been revealed—it’s time to celebrate the incredible time we had during Superheroes Week! Each camper showed bravery, creativity, and a sense of justice that would make any comic book legend proud. Whether they were mastering fun obstacle courses, crafting their superhero gadgets, or saving the day in our epic scavenger hunt missions, they faced every challenge like Superheroes! On Fun Friday, our campers showed off their superhero moves as they climbed, jumped, and spun around to catch the fantastic bubbles created by Miss Molly. What an epic way to close out our week!   

The excitement doesn't stop there! Brace yourselves for the incredible themes lined up for the upcoming weeks:

We embarked on a cosmic journey this week! Our space-themed week at camp was packed with interstellar fun, astronomical adventures, and educational activities that were out of this world! Whether our campers are aspiring astronauts or just stargazing enthusiasts, there's something for everyone in our galaxy. Our astronauts created dazzling moon rocks and encountered an extraterrestrial vinegar substance to melt the moon dust away to discover a special space gem! We also designed rockets and telescopes to research the great beyond! We closed out our week on a high note and created planet Earth out of the most delicious materials. Earth has never tasted this good!
