Summer Explorers Weekly Newsletter

We had another exciting week at camp, with a focus on Animal Plant! We explored the amazing world of animals and their habitats. From the dense rainforests to the vast savannas, our campers embarked on a journey to learn about the diverse ecosystems our animal friends call home. Our days were filled with fun activities, including crafts, scavenger hunts, and nature walks. What a wild adventure!   

We even got the chance to pet real-life snacks, lizards, and a tortoise! The Lizard Lady Show was a great success!

This week, we celebrated Disney Magic, where campers stepped into beloved stories—transforming into princesses, heroes, explorers, and sidekicks. From themed games and sing-alongs to magical crafts and imaginative play, the spirit of Disney brought joy, wonder, and a touch of enchantment to our camp family.

Friendly reminder, Camp will be closed next week. We wish you and your family a wonderful and safe 4th of July!

This week, our campers embarked on an exciting journey to explore various careers and discover what they want to be when they grow up. We highlighted different careers each day and welcomed virtual guest speakers who shared valuable information about being firefighters, doctors, mail carriers, police officers, and chefs. This exposure inspired the imaginative aspirations of our young explorers! Our campers brought all this information to life by creating their very own police badges, toolboxes, directed drawings of their future careers, along with chefs' hats, and made a delicious pizza lunch to boot! What an inspirational week!

The theme that kept us captivated this week was none other than "Under the Sea and Pirates!" We embarked on an adventure-filled journey, delving into the depths of creativity by crafting magnificent sea life creatures, unearthing hidden treasures during thrilling treasure hunts, and using our imagination to tame the wild sea as we boarded an imaginary pirate ship! 

We ended our week with a successful water day celebration. We had tons of fun in the sun and enjoyed all the water activities to the fullest!

What an amazing week we had at Summer Explorers! Our campers have done a fantastic job acclimating to their new classrooms and summer routines. We already have so many blossoming friendships!

We are thrilled to kick off the summer and embark on new adventures, highlighting the great outdoors. This week was a nature-inspired extravaganza! Our campers learned about the importance of habitat conservation in supporting our local birds, insects, and other wildlife. We even made binoculars to catch glimpses of amazing creatures during nature hikes across campus. Campers also created beautiful art pieces using natural materials like leaves, flowers, and twigs. They even built birdhouses and made garden fairies out of recycled materials! What a scenic week!

If you provide us with labeled sunscreen, we can keep it at school, and teachers can reapply before lunch recess and afternoon recess. We can not share any sunscreen we have on campus with other campers. (optional).
