What an amazing week we had at Summer Explorers! Our campers have done a fantastic job acclimating to their new classrooms and summer routines. We already have so many blossoming friendships!
The theme that kept us captivated this week was none other than "Under the Sea and Pirates!" We embarked on an adventure-filled journey, delving into the depths of creativity by crafting magnificent sea life creatures, unearthing hidden treasures during thrilling treasure hunts, and even concocting ooey gooey ocean slime that had our campers' imaginations running wild!
And the excitement doesn't stop there! Brace yourselves for the incredible themes lined up for the upcoming weeks:
- June 12-16: Around the Campfire
- June 19-23: Dinosaurs
- June 26-30: Nature Exploration
We can't wait to continue this extraordinary summer with our remarkable Explorers. Get ready for more adventures, friendships, and amazing memories that will last a lifetime!

Reminders
Snacks
Please be sure to pack your child plenty of snacks they can enjoy for the day. For Preschool and Jr. Kindergarten Campers, please be sure to label snacks with their name and designate AM and PM snacks accordingly.
Sunscreen
If you would like for us to re-apply sunscreen on your child during the camp day, we ask that you bring your own sunscreen, labeled with your child's name, to be kept at school for the duration of Summer@Oakwood (optional).
Pick-Up by 5:30 pm
Remember, Summer Explorers ends promptly at 5:30 pm!
