The Annual Fund is the heart of every independent school's philanthropic efforts in which each family is asked to provide an annual donation to the school and Oakwood is no different. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation from our current families, faculty, staff, and board.

Join us for Oakwood’s Fall Giving Challenge as we come together to support our students, programs, and campus. Every gift makes a meaningful impact while entering you to win four tickets to the last San Francisco Giants home game of the season vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers!
Donors at the $500 level and above will also receive access to special recognition opportunities, including inscribed bricks or tiles that you may see as you walk in along Legacy Lane, bench plaques, seats in our theatre, and other meaningful ways to leave a lasting legacy on campus.

Donations made through the Annual Fund may be designated by the donor to go to any one of the below funds. Most donations are given "unrestricted" for the school's greatest needs, meaning the donation will go toward one or more of the five funds, depending on need. Proceeds from school fundraising events go to one or more of the five funds.
Annual Fund Designations
Because of its dramatic impact on our students, the Annual Fund Campaign is the top fundraising priority of our school and participation in this effort is frequently used as a benchmark of our community's collective strength. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation from our current families, faculty, staff, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, and board. Another way to help Oakwood is through matching gifts. Many companies will match donations to charitable organizations, doubling or tripling the impact of your gift to Oakwood.
