2020 Fund Run

Fund Run and COVID-19

We plan for this event to continue, but it will be modified to allow for social distancing and safer hygiene practices. Only students, faculty and staff, and parent volunteers will attend. We realize that many parents will be disappointed that they cannot be spectators for this event, but this is the safest way that we can continue this 22-year tradition at Oakwood. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we navigate an ever-changing situation.

Last year's 2019 Fund Run was our best ever—bringing in $202,057 thanks to our very generous community and the Christopher family challenge match!

This year, we're challenging YOU to make your donation, appeal to your family, friends, neighbors, doctors, coaches—anyone—to help us match last year's success! There is no better time to give as we look to the successful completion of our Spreading Our Roots efforts, which includes the new Gwendolyn Riches Liberal Arts Center and Athletic Center, which our entire student body is already utilizing.

Find your grade's Fund Run giving link below and share it with everyone you know to create an immediate and widespread impact on Oakwood. We are so grateful for your continued generosity and the indelible mark you leave on our growing campus! Thank you!

It's Fund Run Time!

The Fund Run has always been a special way for the Oakwood community to come together to support the school and celebrate our spirit. Students will be running an obstacle course and laps on the track for 30 minutes with their grade level.

Proceeds this year will again go toward the school's Spreading Our Roots campaign in support of the Campus Fund which includes the completion of the Gwendolyn Riches Liberal Arts Center, the Athletic Center, and playfield to follow, that are part of our long-term vision. The new spaces are open and being utilized by students in preschool through 12th grade, however, we still need widespread support to finish paying for their construction. These new additions advance Oakwood's ability to provide enhanced hands-on learning opportunities and expanded extracurricular offerings for our current students as well as sustaining this excellence for future generations.

As we strive for 100% participation from our current community, parent donations to the 2020 Fund Run will count toward your family's grade-level participation progress total!

This is your chance to make an immediate and lasting impact on Oakwood's future! Thank you for your support.
